In Branson

Well not much to tell now, we left Clovis Friday. Darla and I went to Lubbock Thursday and spent the day with sister's Linda and Penny. Had a good visit with them.

We went to Joplin got there Saturday morning, Bill's uncle Frank had a stroke and in rehab there so we went to see him. He looks good and doing better then when he first had it. He will be there until he can walk with his walker down the hall and get some strength in his arms and legs. He will be 87 this coming Thursday. May 3rd.

Bought us a membership at Treasure Lake today and going to stay here until Mon. Think we will be going back to Lansing for a few days and then on up to Forest City, Iowa.

Got some cute pictures of the great grand babies from Yvette last night so going to post a few of them. They are so cute and sure keep their mama busy.

Been playing Hand and Foot with friends here tonight.
We are going to Springfield tomorrow computer shopping for grandpa, his quit last night and can't get it going. But it has done pretty good for almost four years now so can't complain.

Our Home

A big wagon at Ft. Leaton

Ghost town Terlinqua, TX didn't see any ghost and they do have people living there.

Mc/Donald Observatory was second largest in 1997 when it was built now they think maybe down in the 30's since so many bigger one's have been built.

One of the pictures of Big Bend it is pretty dry but still a good drive.

We sold our stick house last year 2006 and went full time in our new home. I'm new at this but will give it a try to see how I do so some of them may be a little long.

We are on our way back toward Ks. now after wintering in South Tx for the winter again this year. We have had a few busy days since getting here and will tell you about some of it some pictures

We are in South Tx now in the Big Bend area, we went to Big Bend Wed and drove all around it. Thursday we went to the Mc/Donald Observatory and seen the big telescopes. Boy are they big..Friday night we went to see the Marfa lights, didn't get any pictures but we did get to see the lights. They are weird, a light would show up then maybe four more and back to one.

Yesterday was Saturday and we drove the route to see ghost towns in TX. We saw two plus a old Ft. that was built in 1836 I think it was. Ft. Leaton.
Today is Sunday and getting ready to get on the road tomorrow so will post this and see how it looks. If it looks good I may post more later.
